After years of anticipation, the sequel to Forest features a third trailer, giving players a tease of what monstrosities await them and when their adventures will finally begin.

Alongside some trailers, fans of the original indie hit 2014, Forest, it’s left to speculate when the game will finally release, it’s supposed to release this year.

Hopefully this release date is the last for Children of the forest, by the time it dropped, fans had been waiting for 8 years. Forest and its ultimate VR support helped skyrocket the popularity of that game and it looks like this Children of the forest doing much the same thing. It’s a pity the game only comes to PC (at least right now) though Forest Released on PS4. And there’s no sign of the sequel getting VR functionality, Children of the forest can follow in its predecessor’s footsteps in more ways than one.
